10 Items To Help Update Your Spring Wardrobe

Now that temperatures have surpassed 42 degrees here in Chicago we wanted to showcase some of our new arrivals for SPRING! Warmer temps are upon us and spring break is on its way!

A standout for this season is this Mediterranean blue suit from Lardini. Its tonal shadow stripe is elegant- wear this for a Summer wedding or to the office and you are sure to be the best dressed one there! We paired this suit back to a Fray purple and blue check shirt and a Stefano Ricci paisley tie. Ties are a great way to hit the “refresh” button and give your suit a new look for the season. The last component to go with your fresh suit are these double monk strap shoes from John Lobb. The Parisian Brown color is everything - elegant and sophisticated.

It is always hard to select our favorite sportcoat from Kiton but this grey and turquoise windowpane/boucle can’t be beat. We love the subtle colors and how this jacket can be dressed up with charcoal slacks or wear it casually with grey or white Jacob Cohen denim. The half lined jacket will keep you cool during Spring and Summer. We selected a cobalt and turquoise stripe Fray shirt to compliment the color of the windowpane pattern in the jacket. Attention to detail is everything, so don’t forget to purchase this pocketsquare from Drake’s (white linen tipped in a turquoise border). *Note you can wear this pocketsquare also back to that Lardini suit*

Living in Chicago we always like to keep in mind hybrid pieces for our customers. Let’s talk about how this laser cut sweater jacket from Baldassari can be worn year round. You can wear this jacket indoors when the calendar says March but it still feels like December and then in June as a piece of “outerwear” in the evenings. This swacket can easily be dressed up because it is lightweight and goes with everything. Pair it with a linen Henley from Eleventy, or a sportshirt from Fray, this navy sweater jacket from Baldassari will be on regular rotation in your closet.

Another favorite piece for layering is this light filled nylon gillet from Eleventy made with water-resistant tech fabric. If anyone knows how to do outerwear cool and effortlessly, it’s these guys. Wear this vest over a tshirt with your favorite joggers, paired with a sweater and cotton pants, or try sporting it underneath a suit for that modern day Italian guy look. This is a piece you will have in your closet for years to come! We suggest wearing your vest with this Brunello Cucinelli sweater -- the best knitwear from Solomeo and for a reason! The details on this ribbed sweater are subtle but still elegant. We love the ribbing on the collar with the color details. We recommend wearing this back to your cream Cucinelli cotton pants during the Spring/Summer with some sophisticated sneakers.
